Illustrations that Ken Kesey illustrated, he put these illustrations in his published book 'One flew over the Cuckoo's nest'. These illustrations are very fascinating as they where drawn by the actual author of the book, I find this very insightful, it gives the reader a deeper insight into how Ken Kesey visualised the situations and characters in his book.
I want to be influenced by his drawing method, very sketchy, using black ink and not very detailed. I feel like this method of illustration really captures the sense of the book with its intense story line and uncertain life style reflects the harsh but freehand lines well.
