I have made all of the guides ready for the Hike tomorrow! I have designed them as a guide to the walk and the tasks we will be under taking. I wanted to keep the design to match the poster prior to this to keep the theme. I have made a map of Hengisbury Head showing the route we will be taking around the coast. On this route I have given slips attached in side the booklet to fill out. These slips will be filled out when I tell the group to stop at 5 critical points, so they can take in their surroundings. There are four simple questions which are:
1. Record a smell/s
2. Three words to describe how you feel
3. Record a sound/s
4. Record three things you see, that catch your eye
I will record on a personal map where we took these 5 stops to analyse these 4 questions. By doing this test I will hopefully gain a greater Knowledge of the surrounding area. I will be mapping distance, time, emotion, sounds, smells, surroundings and collected items from the journey. I have provided a contact number incase of an emergency and the our meeting point, specified by a tea cup icon.
I will be providing a plastic wallet for the explorer to collect items whilst on the hike. They will be expected to do this also at the 5 stopping points.
