As I am doing my project on a narrative based on the migration of birds told through illustration and map making. 

I thought it would be silly of me not involve the RSPB in my research discussions. They are a massive part of the restiation of the environement and conservation of birds wellfair. As they quote here on their website, on the 'About Us' page, they explain what there charity is all about : 

'Our work is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility to protect birds and the environment. Bird populations reflect the health of the planet on which our future depends.'

The need for an effective bird conservation organisation has never been greater. Climate change, agricultural intensification, expansion of urban areas and transport infrastructure, and over-exploitation of our seas all pose major threats to birds.

The RSPB could not exist without its supporters and members. Whether you join us, give a donation, purchase items from us or undertake voluntary work, your support is vital to the future of birds and the places where they live.

For my project I have decided to illustrate, write and make a book for children. This book with be aimed for the charity RSPB. A charity that is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility to protect birds and the environment. Bird populations reflect the health of the planet on which our future depends.  

I want to help this charity with the future, the future generation. I aim to do this by making inspiration kit. It will be part of there scheme to get young people interested in the environment and birds. This kit will be mostly focused on a book which will involve a short story, a map and activities. I want to design this kit in a hand make bang, involving other small extras like a microscope and binoculars, these will encouarge the future keen explorers. 

I will get in contact with the charity and find out some satistics on how they have previously tried to attact a younger audinece and ask if they have any helpful advice.

It would be so helpful if I could be sent some of your posters or advertising leaflets for research and inspiration?
