My feedback from my EMP was a mixed bag. It was very apparent that I have yet to decided on the purpose of my project. I have made a decision on how I will deliver my project and what I would like do and who for but the meaningfulness is holding me back.
I am still unsure on what I want to project but after this tutorial I think I have it clearer in my head on my direction. As ironic as it is I am lost doing a mapping project!
I was told to look at the book 'Broka the Goose by John Burningham, as a source of research and inspiration.
It was raised that I need to find substance to my project (give it a meaning)
Could I make a children's book? is that me...
To look at 'Where's Wally' books as an idea for a concept for a book.
I must go to a book shop to look at some books to see how they intrigue me and it will be positive for inspiration and research.
It would be most interesting if I looked into Origami and pop-up books to add interest to my illustrations and maps.
