I have been considering the social and ethical issues that come with designing a book for the public. When designing you must remember to consider the way you come across and the message your work conveys, unless you purposely want to shock and offend your audience. There are many different cultures and ages that we must consider when design for our target audience.

For example when designing for a younger audience I do not want to create anything that would be inappropriate or to succeeds intellectual capacity. Find the write balance it vital when designing for a younger audience, bringing a popular style, interest but at the same time they need intellectual stimulation.

My target audience- 'Young Adults'

 

In this post I want to discuss how I have I thought and tackled these issues for my project. I want to make sure that my project has enough reasoning behind it to make fit into today’s society, by helping the way people think and approach the environment.

My designed book is to help a young audience realise, embrace and enjoy their environment more. My book on the Jurassic coast and bird watching is a fun book that gives you accurate information designed in a young more approachable designed way. I believe my work will help encourage a positive attitude towards that environment and hopefully get a new generation interested.
